Opening the resort this year (2013), our 70th year of business, was challenging. There were banks of snow around the resort in mid May and the ice began creeping off the lake opening fishing weekend. A month later, the lilacs finally bloomed and lasted a long time with the perpetually cool evening temps.
It’s now July and we are again wearing swimming suits instead of stocking caps and the sunsets continue to be awesome!
